                        James I noticed you are fooling around with the length of exposure in some of your pics. Depending on your camera's abilities (mine only allows up to about 2 seconds) you should try some more things to come up with some really great pics. For example, if you could close your aperture a whooole lot and then have an exposure time of say, an hour, it would be cool to put your camera on a tripod by the river and see boats go by. This would also be the same with say, putting it in your window and filming cars going by for a while. One of my favorites is to light a sparkler and have about a 20 second exposure period. At some point while filming someone moving the sparkler arounf maniacally, use the flash to catch their body just for one second. It comes out looking cool.  Im sure this is all old news to you. but, you should mess around with it cause im too lazy, and downtown wilm has better stuff to take pics of than hillsboring. laaaater

                        this weekend was a waste. i had planned to clean up before i move, to do all of my dishes, laundry and chores.  i did not.  i had planned on going to see sarah vowell on saturday night, and on drinking a la fin du monde and watching the new curb your enthusiasm sunday night.  i did not.  i did, however, get a boatload of new music (well, most of it isn't new), so i suppose the time wasn't completely wasted.  i also worked quite a bit on the new mymoustache.com setup, to be rolled out asap.  at the moment it looks like i'm just going to backup and remove this forum to make room for all the dynamic php goodness.  sorry guys.  i'll work on an archive after the new shits done.  of course, all current members maintain invite status, and all current rankings will be maintained.  love to all my fans,  mm

                        <![CDATA[I was in my visual technologies class the other day and showed my Professor the interesting tidbit on the unsecured network cameras (thank you Jimmy) He found it fascinating. So, my request is, and I'm sure the mostashers will not let down, not to mention Fabulous James Dempsey. To have cool and crazy even geeky treats to tell my teach about every so often.                         James I think you should put a link back to your index page after signing out of the forum, if possible. I usually have to go up and erase some of the address to get back. If there is an easier way, let me know but I think it would be convenient to have links on the successful sign out page.  love you matt

                        Well, to go with the new blog design I went ahead and loaded up Vanilla.  I like the simplicity of the interface, which is perfect for our purposes here.  I should be customizing the style soonish, I'll post here with any updates.  Let me know what you think, suggestions etc.

                        i spent the better part of my evening tinkering with the blog, implementing some css.  it seems to work wonderfully in firefox, although there is a little alignment issue with the border that i need to iron out.  however, in anything other than full screen, ie6 goes a little wacky, moving only the right and left columns to weird places.  will play with it more later.  what do you think of the new design?
